Home to one of the most anticipated events on the PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) expansion tour, Grand Rapids, Michigan, will welcome the PBR Pendelton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) for the eighth time in 2024, hosting the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Tractor Supply Co. PBR Grand Rapids on January 19 and 20 at Van Andel Arena.
Tickets for the two-day event go on sale Friday, September 29 at 10AM at VanAndelArena.com. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, with all price levels increasing on event day. Fan club members will also be able to purchase online at PBR.com or by calling (800) 732-1727.
Two-day ticket packages will also be available, offering fans up to 15% discount on select price levels.
“PBR Gold Elite Seats” are available for avid bull riding fans who want an exclusive VIP experience while enjoying the world’s top bull riding league. These tickets offer the best seat in the venue, an exclusive PBR collectible item, concession voucher per seat, commemorative credential and lanyard, pre-show experience with PBR talent, and a photo opportunity from the dirt.
Diehard fans looking for a premium experience with seating close to the PBR action, won’t want to miss the “PBR Silver Elite Seats.” This elite upgrade provides great lower-level seats, concession voucher per seat, pre-show experience with PBR talent, and a photo opportunity on the dirt.
Fans can additionally purchase “PBR Bronze Seat.” The PBR Plus seat includes great lower-level seating and a post-show photo experience on the dirt.

For two nights only, 40 of the best bull riders from around the world will compete in one of the most exciting live sporting events to witness, showcasing ultimate matchups with talented animal athletes bred to buck. The Pendelton Whisky Tour is known for playing a critical role in riders reaching the top levels of competition in professional bull riding, as showcased each year in Grand Rapids.
In 2023, the sold-out crowd inside Van Andel Arena saw “show-me state” cowboy Casey Coulter (Kirksville, Missouri) deliver a perfect 3-for-3 effort over the weekend, clinching his second career event win. Coulter took his first step to the top of the leaderboard in Round 1, finishing third after making the 8 aboard Warpath (Generations Pro Rodeo, Inc.) for 86 points. The unstoppable cowboy continued the momentum into Round 2 as he bested his bovine opponent Bean Time (Cornwell Bucking Bulls) to record another 86-point ride. In the championship round, Coulter clinched the event win, when he conquered Jet Black (Mike Miller Bucking Bulls) for 84 points.
The top talent of the series will take to the dirt at 8PM on Friday, January 19, followed by Round 2 and the championship round at 7PM on Saturday, January 20.
