Quinn XCII (pronounced Quinn Ninety-Two) believes we are all already The People’s Champ. It’s a message he plants at the heart of his new full-length album, The People’s Champ, out January 27^th via Republic Records. It’s not about becoming the best, the biggest, the strongest, the richest, or the most successful. Instead, it reflects what the Detroit, MI native describes as “simply being.” Since his arrival in 2015, he’s excelled by simply being Quinn XCII. Powered by clever storytelling and a willingness to blur the lines between pop, soul, alternative, and hip-hop, his catalog boasts a procession of platinum singles—“Kings of Summer” with ayokay, “Straightjacket,” and “Love Me Less” with MAX—and various gold singles, namely “Flare Guns” and “Stay Next To Me” (both with Chelsea Cutler), “Another Day In Paradise,” “Stacy,” and “Always Been You.” Moreover, he’s collaborated with the likes of Logic, Big Sean, blackbear, AJR, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker, Ashe, Louis The Child, Gryffin, Illenium, and many others.
